Applications Support Analyst

The primary role of the Applications Support Analyst is to manage and support core applications and their processes.

Core Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide day-to-day IT support to users.
Travel to off-site offices.
Perform job enrichment tasks such as providing appropriate professional advice and assistance to colleagues within the department.
Assists with the development, installation, and implementation of IT systems and procedures.
Assist in overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of the IT infrastructure in accordance with Group and Company policies and industry best practices.
Responsible for application/system research and analysis, including data analysis and release testing. Maintain ongoing project management, system maintenance, and documentation of all core applications.
Provide and support recommendations for improved procedures and policies.
Provide application support in resolving and troubleshooting problems.
Provide advanced application support to effectively utilize the system infrastructure and resources.
Interact with software vendors to provide the best solutions to business problems.

Qualifications and Experience

B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
Sound knowledge of standard PC software applications.
Proven track record in the execution of duties.
Conduct user training and demonstrations of business application software.
Working in the Automotive Industry would be an asset.

Required Competencies

Strong working knowledge and ability to train & support Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS).

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Project Management skills would be an asset.
Ability to work on own initiative and extended hours as required.
