Group Sales Performance Manager

Core Responsibilities:
1. Sales Performance & KPI Management
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance across all brands and locations.
  • Track individual and brand-level KPI delivery (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Identify underperformance and ensure immediate follow-up with Sales Managers.
  • Escalate persistent underperformance directly to senior leadership.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain KPI frameworks and targets across the group.
  • Actively participate in pipeline and performance meetings to ensure KPIs remain front and centre.
2. Lead Management & Conversion Discipline
  • Monitor lead activity across Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Identify and flag unattended or ageing leads in real time.
  • Drive accountability for lead follow-up across all sales teams.
  • Analyse conversion rates by brand, model, and salesperson.
  • Highlight bottlenecks in the sales funnel and push corrective action.
3. Reporting & Performance Visibility
  • Produce and maintain:
    • Daily performance dashboards
    • Weekly performance reviews
    • Monthly KPI league tables (in collaboration with Marketing)
  • Ensure a single, accurate version of performance data across the business.
  • Build and refine reporting tools using Excel and Power BI.
  • Introduce real-time alerts for key performance risks (e.g. unattended leads, KPI shortfalls).
4. Pricing & Market Intelligence
  • Maintain and manage the group-wide price ladder across all brands.
  • Track competitor pricing, campaigns, and promotional activity.
  • Monitor internal pricing consistency across brands and models.
  • Provide data-led pricing recommendations to Sales and Brand Managers.
  • Support the development of API-driven pricing and market intelligence tools with the Digital team.
  • Ensure pricing decisions are informed, consistent, and competitive.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with:
    • Sales Managers (performance and accountability)
    • Marketing (campaign performance and reporting)
    • Digital/Data teams (automation, dashboards, API development)
  • Act as the central point of truth for sales performance data.
  • Ensure alignment between lead generation, follow-up, and conversion.
Profile  and Characteristics:
  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
  • Strong commercial awareness and pricing sensitivity.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable challenging Sales Managers.
  • Detail-oriented but able to operate at pace.
  • Naturally accountable and results-focused.
Qualification and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of total automotive experience.
  • At least 3 years in management or a leadership role.
  • Experience in an automotive dealership is a PLUS.
  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Admin., Marketing or Finance.
  • Strong experience with CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Advanced Excel / Power BI capability.
