This individual will be responsible for the general execution of dynamic and people-focused engagement initiatives while supporting core HR operations. This role ideally creates meaningful workplace experiences, planning impactful activities, with emphasis placed on effective internal communications.
Core Area – Employee Engagement & Communications:
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and implement staff engagement programs that foster a positive work environment.
- Organize team-building activities, wellness initiatives, and recognition events.
- Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to improve workplace culture (annual staff surveys, Recruitment experience, etc.)
- Activity Planning & Coordination
- Plan and execute internal events such as town halls, staff parties, and other employee celebrations.
- Coordinate logistics, communications, and budgets for HR-led initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads to align engagement activities with business goals.
- Internal Communications
- Develop and manage HR-related communications, including newsletters, staff announcements, policy updates, and event promotions.
- Craft clear, engaging content for email campaigns, intranet posts, and digital signage.
- Ensure consistent tone, branding, and messaging across all HR communications.
- HR Operations
- Support the uniform administration process.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and off-boarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Assist in performance management cycles and training administration.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Perform general support to other areas of the HR Department as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or Human Resources.
- Over 2 years’ experience in HR and/or related course.
- Event planning and project management experience.
- Must be able to operate Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) at a progressive level.
- Strong Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Service-oriented, with a warm and hospitable presence.
- Highly organized, good attention-to-detail and problem-solving ability.
- Able to practice discretion and confidentiality.
