This individual will be responsible for the general execution of dynamic and people-focused engagement initiatives while supporting core HR operations. This role ideally creates meaningful workplace experiences, planning impactful activities, with emphasis placed on effective internal communications.

Core Area – Employee Engagement & Communications:

  • Employee Engagement & Culture
    • Design and implement staff engagement programs that foster a positive work environment.
    • Organize team-building activities, wellness initiatives, and recognition events.
    • Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to improve workplace culture (annual staff surveys, Recruitment experience, etc.)
  • Activity Planning & Coordination
    • Plan and execute internal events such as town halls, staff parties, and other employee celebrations.
    • Coordinate logistics, communications, and budgets for HR-led initiatives.
    • Collaborate with department heads to align engagement activities with business goals.
  • Internal Communications
    • Develop and manage HR-related communications, including newsletters, staff announcements, policy updates, and event promotions.
    • Craft clear, engaging content for email campaigns, intranet posts, and digital signage.
    • Ensure consistent tone, branding, and messaging across all HR communications.
  • HR Operations
    • Support the uniform administration process.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and off-boarding processes.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
    • Assist in performance management cycles and training administration.
    • Prepare HR reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Perform general support to other areas of the HR Department as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or Human Resources.
  • Over 2 years’ experience in HR and/or related course.
  • Event planning and project management experience.
  • Must be able to operate Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) at a progressive level. 
  • Strong Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Service-oriented, with a warm and hospitable presence.
  • Highly organized, good attention-to-detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to practice discretion and confidentiality.
