Sales Executive

This position will solicit advertising sales from existing and new clients; provide feedback and information to the company on marketing trends and actions of competitors and submit relevant logs and reports, and maintain contact with Agencies and/or Direct Clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Solicit sales of advertising space.
Maintain records of contacts made with clients via telephone or in-person visits.
Prepare presentations/proposals for clients.
Respond to agency queries and complaints.
Collect payment from clients for advertisements booked.
Obtain required credit approval for clients.
Attend all sales and departmental meetings as required.
Keep abreast of the company's and competitor's products.
Assist with the development and implementation of advertising/marketing strategies and promotional programs as assigned.
Prepare annual sales plan.

Qualifications & Experience:

Tertiary level training in Sales and/or Marketing.
At least one (1) year of experience in a similar.
Knowledge of sales cycle and selling techniques.
Knowledge of company products, advertising rates, and discounts would be an asset.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
Ability to close sales and contracts.
