Assistant Lounge Manager

Reporting to the AC Lounge Manager, the incumbent provides support to the Lounge operations, especially the Bar.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the AC Lounge Manager by overseeing operations of the AC Lounge.
Manage and maintain the Bar's inventory, including but not limited to ensuring circulating inventory counts are completed on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring bar stock counts are completed twice daily, and proper records of glass breakage are maintained.
Create attractive bar menus.
Carry out weekly bar inspection and submit report to AC Lounge Manager.
Supervise the team of Mixologists, prepare work schedules, and manage performance and discipline.
Ensure there is full compliance with the AC Marriott Brand Standards as well as Food Handling standards.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management or equivalent from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
Valid Food Handler's Permit.

Specific Skills and Competencies Required:

Ability to be creative and think outside the box.
Excellent time management skills.
High level of professionalism and integrity.
Ability to operate Microsoft Word and Excel.
Customer service oriented.

Specific Knowledge Required

Sound knowledge of the hotel's operations and services.
Sound knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
