Engineering Coordinator

The incumbent will report directly to the Chief Engineer and provide administrative support to the engineering team. They will also handle project coordination, reports, scheduling, and communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review the shift report and submit it to the Executive Office.
To process invoices in Oracle and follow through with the Accounts team until the invoices are paid.
Prepares all payroll documentation for the Chief Engineer's approval.
Plan and coordinate engineering projects, including but not limited to deadline tracking, inspecting the quality of work, and preparing progress reports.
Maintain Engineering records and compliance documents.
Hold technicians accountable for complying with equipment servicing and maintenance schedules, especially for large equipment like the chiller, water pump, water heater, laundry washers and dryers, etc.
Ensure inventory is maintained.
Inspect the disposal area to ensure that garbage disposal is done according to the property's standards.
Build and maintain a good relationship with suppliers and any other stakeholders.
Ensure that the AC Marriott brand standards are maintained within the department.
Ensure financial records of projects' costs are maintained for budget planning purposes.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Project Management, or related field.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
Experience in an administrative role would be a plus.

Specific Knowledge Required

Incumbent must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
