Groups Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage group room blocks using Opera PMS and SFA.
- Enter rates, rooming lists, billing instructions, and special requests accurately.
- Monitor pickup, cutoff dates, and block changes to maximize revenue.
- Assist clients with pre-event planning, timelines, setups, and function details.
- Prepare BEOs, group resumes, event documents, and coordinate with all departments.
- Support onsite event needs including VIP arrivals, registration desks, and client walkthroughs.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, reports, and departmental communications.
- Maintain client data, leads, and production updates in SFA.
- Assist with site inspections, sales calls, and internal meetings.
- 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales, events, reservations, or front office.
- Experience with Opera PMS and SFA preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Professional, customer-service driven attitude.
